Relax at Jagna

I wasn't able to update my blog last night, because of the connection. anyways, we arrived yesterday about 2pm from Loay, no wind at all so we make use of Tiririt and assistance from Phil. Coastguard. The trip was fine. Many local people, mostly students are in the port when we arrived. About 3pm, the Team had a symposium about the Balangay at the gym. We ate our dinner at the municipal hall. The three of us (BXU Team) slept at the boat with Peter (Navy).

Early morning about 5:30 starts the R day. I paddled around the port with the kayak. Breakfast with bulad ug itlog at 7:00am. Wash my clothes and updating the pictures in the net and enhancing the pics for uploads.

Danao Adventure Park and Chocolate Hills

It's 5:30am when I open my eyes back from sleep, start my day with coffee and getting ready for the trip today. This is another R day of the team, no sail today, so the team arrange a day tour to Danao Adventure  Park and Chocolate Hills. We arrived at Danao around 10am and had our brunch. The mayor and his tourism officer accompany us in their area.  The team went to the zipline area, i can't really explain how does it feel. I took the suislide with Nico, tandem ride. Most  of the team experience the "plunge" ride but not me.. hahaha! and Carina of Phil Everest Team. hehehe! it's not about the safety concerns but it's about overcoming the rush, and I or shall I say "we". hahaha! We had our snacks then. After Danao, we headed fast to Chocolate Hills, and have quick picture taking of the Chocolate Hills few minutes before the sunset. We had our dinner at Dauis Vice Mayor's residence. I'll wash my clothes tonight. hehehe!

1st Day of Training

I woke up aroung 6:10am, very early. I and Lemzar had coffee at a nearby 24 hours carenderia near the pier since we slept at the boat last night. After the coffee, the breakfast arrived around 7:30am, itlog ug buwad after taking out the mast of the Diwata Ng Lahi since it can't pass through the bridge that link mainland Bohol and Panglao island. We started the voyage around 10am upon arriving of Sir Art from the conference at the Capitol early morning. We passed to bridges and fix the mast again and ready for sailing to Panglao Island. We sail and arrived at Panglao around 4pm. We will stay here until Sunday and will leave after lunch because we are planning to watch Pacman's fight Sunday morning. Photos will be posted as soon as I can relax.

SuperCat leaves at 12:30pm. While on the boat, we had our early snacks at 1:00pm coz Lemzar brought us carbonara from Red Ribbon and realizes that we shouldn't eat too much, but I can't refuse his offer, well, it's pasta. hehehe!

He show us the way to the Diwata Ng Lahi which dock at the same port, few meters away from SuperCat. Rain showers welcome us. We had a long talk with Fred at the Diwata Ng Lahi and he showed us the balangay. Few minutes later, the other crew members arrived, like Janet, Carina, and the coast guard and navy. The four of us (Butuan) went to BQ Mall and had our snacks and buy necessary gears and headed back to the boat less than an hour. Sir Art Valdez meet us at the port and had our briefing for tommorow's activty at the Diwata Ng Lahi, and after the briefing, we went to the coast guard office for dinner and meet the rest of the crew. After the dinner, we went to the place which we can refresh ourselves. Me and Lemzar will sleep at the boat tonight as our first duty. The welcome is so warm, I'm excited as well as tired of the trip. I'm at the boat as of the moment. We are planning to sleep early, so goodnight for now.
